Charlotte STYLE Magazine’s Third Annual 25 Most Stylish Event

"Charlotte’s 25 Most Stylish list includes individuals within the beauty, fashion, business, entertainment and civic communities. With so many incredible nominees, the decision was far from easy.  “We selected another fabulous group of five people for our cover,” explains STYLE’s Publisher Bridgette E. West. The Top Five Most Stylish was announced on March 29th and the entire list of 25 will be revealed on April 9th 2011 during Charlotte STYLE Magazine’s Third Annual 25 Most Stylish event presented by Mercedes-Benz of South Charlotte to benefit The American Heart Association’s Go Red Campaign. 

The 2011 Top Five Most Stylish People in Charlotte include Sandy Bowers (owner of Monkee’s Of Lake Norman), Jami Svay (Celebrity Make-Up Artist and creator of Tastee Cosmetics), Nicole Sinclair (Chief Creative Officer for Style Sanctum), Brittney Cason (Columnist, TV Host and Philanthropist) and Ron Freeman, Jr. (Managing Partner of Dry Creek Holdings, LLC and Bespoke Media).  The Top Five will be featured on the cover of Charlotte STYLE Magazine’s spring issue, which will be revealed at this year’s event."

I am honored to say that I was nominated to be in the Top 25. I must admit, I believe I was more thrilled that I was nominated for this than when I won my American Business Award. Why? Because this is my community and not a panel of business people (who don't know me)  judging my business success. Don't get me wrong…winning that award was a HUGE highlight of my life but knowing I was nominated for something within my community is extremely heartwarming.

Charlotte STYLE Magazine will roll out the red carpet to host its Third Annual 25 Most Stylish event, celebrating the 25 Most Stylish People of Charlotte.  The event and fashion show will be hosted at the Felix Sabates Mercedes-Benz of South Charlotte showroom on April 9 from 6:00-10:00 p.m.

This lavish affair will recognize 25 individuals within the fashion, business and civic communities, and will also feature a “Go Red Celebrity Fashion Show,” where celebrities and media personalities, wearing signature red looks, will strut their stuff down the catwalk to show support for the American Heart Association. Confirmed “Go Red” models include: Tone-X (Monique Show), Yasmin Wallas (Power 98), Brittany York (Miss North Carolina USA 2011), Vanessa McClelland (Miss Teen North Carolina USA 2011), Cynthia Griner (Mrs. NC International 2010), and others.  More celebrities, socialites and personalities are being added daily. In addition to the Go Red Show, The night will encompass everything from delectable hors d’oeuvres from Bluprint Restaurant to a live performance by EleKtriK Dance Team.

Media personalities Samantha Badger (Fox News Rising/Sam On Cam) and Preston Miles (V101.9) will host the evening’s festivities. Designers and Boutiques showing their spring lines all through the evening include: Kotani Rae, MiikelleDeFo, Fresh Boutique, Revolution and The Pink Hanger. Evolution Talent Agency, Salon M2, Carolina’s Healthcare System and Bluprint Restaurant are also proud sponsors of The 25 Most Stylish.
