SheKnows Media to Moderate Town Hall Meeting with President Obama (And I’ll Be There!)

Never in a million years did I think I would have to reschedule my day so that I could attend a Town Hall Meeting with the President of the United States. You can imagine that phone call “I’m sorry I can’t be there after all. I am meeting with the President.” Ok…so it’s not a one on one but I do have the opportunity to attend tomorrow’s Town Hall Meeting with President Barack Obama. He will be in Charlotte to discuss the earning and economic prospects of American Women in the workforce. He will  discuss increasing the federal Child Tax Credit, expanding the Earned Income Tax Credit and will also address the Paycheck Fairness Act and The Fair Pay Act.

This Town Hall Meeting will be moderated by Lisa Stone, Chief Community Officer of SheKnows Media and Co-Founder of Blogher. It will be live streamed on SheKnows.com , Blogher.com and WhiteHouse.gov  so make sure to tune in. You may follow the conversation via the hashtags #ObamaTownHall and #WomensLives .

I am honored to have this opportunity. Now I must figure out what to wear and to remind myself to breathe.

Whether you love him or hate him….this is

THE President of the United States.

Don’t forget to check out my social media streams before and after the meeting for updates. The meeting is scheduled to begin at approximately 2/2:30 (April 15th TAX DAY!) and will last for one hour.
