I admit it. I prefer to dye my hair at home. WHAT?! A beauty product lover who doesn't go to the salon to take care of those roots??!?!?!? I know, It's hard to believe. Since that first time a dash of color hit my locks when I was 16, I never looked back. This of course brought on many shades over the years. My natural hair color is a very dark brown and I've been dying it black for quite a few years now. Well, imagine my surprise to learn there is a NEW and EASIER way to take care of my at home hair color. Enter in: L'Oreal Paris Sublime Mousse by Healthy Look. At first, I thought…..no way…..a mousse that will color my hair the same as all other products (including L'Oreal….I've always been a fan of L'Oreal Feria) have done over the past. A mousse that is as easy to apply as shampoo?! Yes, my Pretties. It exists!
As I was applying this dye, I couldn't help but notice there was no harsh ammonia smell and yes, it's true…….it applies just as easy as applying your shampoo. There was absolutely no mess….no drips…..no accidental spills on my bathroom tile (which I'm notorious for). No color on my forehead or the top of my ears or even on the back of my neck. There was hardly color on my gloves! How could this be possible? Surely, this couldn't be working. I kept thinking, will I receive the shiny beautiful black that I am used to. Will it be as vibrant? Will it look fake?
I think the pictures below tell the TRUE story
I am absolutely in love with this product. My hair color looks natural and shiny. Did I mention how easy this was?! Want to see how easy this is for yourself? Check out this video! -> http://bit.ly/gDOTD0

I love coloring my hair (and my teenage daughter’s hair) at home. I would love to try the mousse hair color! It looks so easy!
Your hair looks great! I love love love L’Oreal products. L’Oreal has a huge facility here in Little Rock, and every time I drive by it, it’s like Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory, and I would do anything to get a golden ticket. Their new EverPure line is my fave for preserving color, so make sure you use it after the mousse!
I have been looking into the foam but wondering the same things as you. The color looks great and completely natural on you. I would have never guessed it wasn’t your real hair color. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this product, off to print the coupon. My roots are just sad right now.
I so need to try this before my cruise in a couple weeks! The color looks beautiful on you. Thank you for giving us the great recommendation.
I color my hair at home as well and always have issues with it dripping on the tile or staining the sink. This product seems like EXACTLY what I need. Thanks for the recommendation Amelia! I will most definitely try this!
Amelia,
I’ve been dying my own hair for 12 years now. I’ve used the same color, which happens to be a L’Oreal Preferences color. I wish they made it in this new mousse. It looks fantastic.
I color my hair at home too, and only use L’Oreal, but haven’t tried the mousse yet. I will now!!
They need more reds! Us redheads always get the shaft!
I’ve always colored my hair at home. Your hair looks great.
