This week’s Queen City Pretty is a wife, mother, daughter, loyal friend and owner of Greyson Steele Photography. Her passions are her family and her photography business. Living life to the fullest and taking time for the little things means alot to Dawn Gaddy. As long as I’ve known Dawn, she has been reliable, genuine, honest and probably one of the strongest women I’ve ever met. Dawn says ” When I commit to something, I put  100% (and then some) into it. If I say I’m going to do something I do it. I do this in all aspects of my life. What drives me is love…. love for my children, love for my family and husband and love for what I do… I have a winning combination”

This is exactly why Dawn is this week’s Queen City Pretty.

What is your beauty product must have? Cellex C High Potency Serum

If I were to peek in your makeup bag, what would I find? Sonia Koshuk Foundation, Sonia Koshuk Bronzer, a variety of eyeshadows, liquid eyeliner, loreal voluminous mascara, and some lip gloss

What spa/salon service can you not live without and where do you go to get this service done? Pedicures – I wish I could say I were loyal to any one place, but I go wherever…

Who is your beauty icon? Raquel Welch – she is 70 years old and still looks amazing

What is your definition of Beauty? My definition of beauty is to always make yourself feel good about yourself… I rarely leave without any makeup, I always do something with myself… or my day is not quite right. Having great hair makes you beautiful… but most of all, I think having a genuine heart is what makes a woman beautiful…

Any last words? I think all busy women sometimes forget to take time for themselves… I have recently re-committed to taking time for me… I am so busy with all the things I do… but, I am before beautiful women and brides all the time… so when I’m not feeling as great about myself, it reflects in how I feel… which can reflect in my work…. so, I take time to whiten my teeth, put some clear on my nails, get my pedicures, put on my night cream…. and also watch what I eat…. My job is all about making our clients look and feel beautiful and when someone gets married, usually they’ve prepared and they are at their best… so it’s not difficult… but I think everyone should feel how they feel on their wedding day… taking 5-10 minutes a day can help you achieve that… ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
