Disclosure: This post is sponsored by BODYARMOR however all opinions are my own. There’s 4 months until my journey to Nepal where I’ll be trekking to Mt. Everest Base Camp. I’m truly still trying to wrap my head around that. There’s a million things to do to prepare and I’m pretty obsessive reading every article and blog post I can about those who have taken the same path.
My quote through all of this has been “Mt Everest isn’t going to climb itself!” Meaning…I MUST push through. With that also comes nutrition and hydration. Especially during a workout. I am pretty sure I had tried all of the sports drinks out there until I recently tried BODYARMOR Sports Drink. Let’s just say-I now have a favorite to help me through my grind at the gym.
BODYARMOR is a sports drink that is packed with electrolytes, coconut water, and vitamins. It’s also low in sodium and high in potassium. It’s available in 11 flavors at retailers including Target, Kroger, Publix, and Lowes Foods. I especially love that this year, they released BODYARMOR LYTE which has only 20 calories per serving. This sports drink was designed by athletes, for athletes. It’s no surprise that BODYARMOR is the brand of choice for athletes such as Kobe Bryant, James Harden, Mike Trout, Dustin Johnson, Andrew Luck, Kristaps Porzinigis, Richard Sherman, Dez Bryant, Anthony Rizzo, and Skylar Diggins. That’s one impressive list of athletes. I wonder if they want to add me? Hey-Mt. Everest Base Camp is no small feat and Hike for Hope is all for charity!! BODYARMOR is now available in a 6-pack and you can SAVE A DOLLAR today by clicking HERE and following the instructions. If you are interested in learning more about the Hike for Hope campaign and why I’ve chosen to make this journey please visit https://www.classy.org/campaign/hike-for-hope/c154942

Keep up the good work! I'm very proud of the progress you have made since this journey began a little over a year ago. Sign me up for Team Amelia!
Beyond awesome Amelia. I never knew it was freaking 38 miles out. That is one helluva journey. But being serious about training helps you combat altitude sickness because when you breathe air super freely at sea level, you tend to be less effected by thin air. Body sucks it up just find due to your increased lung capacity.
