All We Want is LOVE and the VH1 Do Something Awards

The day we've been waiting on is finally here. Tonight the VH1 Do Something Awards will air LIVE. Why am I so excited? Well, as many know….I am heavily involved within my community in the nonprofit sector. One of my three organizations of choice, All We Want is LOVE, has been named a FINALIST (1 of 5) with DSA. Sure, Jillian Mourning will get to stand on stage with other amazing individuals (including celebrities) who donate their time to changing our world. But the best part of this? Not only does she have a huge platform to share her story and her mission but she has the chance to win a $100,000 grant for All We Want is LOVE.

If you missed the news the other day, the FBI conducted the largest child prostitution sting in U.S. history. This resulted in hundreds of children being saved and 150 pimps across 76 cities were arrested. This is a serious problem in America.

LOVE aims to end modern day slavery. By winning the Do Something Award, it would provide us the opportunity to educate and bring more awareness to this very real problem that exists in our very own backyard.

How can you help? The award show will air at 8pm eastern standard time on VH1. Until then, fans are allowed to vote for their favorite cause out of the finalists. It's easy….text JILLIAN to 38383 and you will help bring her one step closer to this prestigious award.

Want to help us even more? Use this image on your social media accounts to show your support! Include #DSA #WeWantLOVE

We are also hosting a viewing party at Dilworth Neighborhood Grille in Charlotte, NC tonight beginning at 7pm. Love-Tini's will be available for purchase and 10% of all beverage/food sales will benefit All We Want is LOVE. Come show your support!!!!

About All We Want is LOVE and Jillian Mourning
Jillian Mourning, a former victim of human trafficking, launched All We Want is LOVE in July 2012 with the mission to educate the general public about sex trafficking within the U.S, empower and provide emotional liberation for victims of trafficking. Mourning also provides training to those who may come in contact with trafficked victims. All We Want is LOVE has assisted in the rescue of three models from sex trafficking and has distributed 12,000 bars of soap labeled with the National Sex Trafficking Hotline to hotels during a PGA Golf tournament which resulted in five cases being reported. With the most recent soap event targeting gas stations and truck stops. In the day of deliveries alone, two cases were identified and reported.
