Introducing Donna Karan WOMAN

Donna Karan recently joined forces with Architect Zaha Hadid and Perfumer Anne Flipo to create a new fragrance inspired by all that a woman is. Karan says "Every woman has the power to seduce the world with her uniqueness, passion and creativity."
The advertising campaign focuses on this by featuring women of all ages who are accomplished yet give back to the world. Among these featured are Christy Turlington Burns, Karolina Kurkova and Liya Kebede.

"I believe women are complex, and full of emotion and feelings. We have a unique ability to care and share and make the world a better place. When I approached the project, I wove this idea of the multi-faceted woman into all aspects of the process"-Donna Karan.

While I have yet to try this fragrance, I am immediately drawn to the design of the bottle. Packaging is certainly key and Iraqi-British artichect did an amazing job designing the Donna Karan Woman bottle. Hadid's inspiration comes from the curvature of a woman's body: "voluptuous, mysterious and irrestible to the touch".

The collection will be available beginning August 2012 at Bergdorg Goodman, Bloomingdale's Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue.
What's your favorite Donna Karan fragrance?
