Queen City Pretty: Kristi Kosatschenko

This week’s Queen City Pretty is Charlotte Checkers CheckMate, Kristi Kosatschenko.  Not only does Kristi stay busy cheering  on our favorite AHL Hockey Team and volunteering with her teammates in the community but she’s also a Marketing Associate with Carolina Pad.
Kristi also says “Family means the world to me, and I see them as much as possible.  Family gatherings in my family mean about 30 people in one room, speaking in English and some in German!”
This Charlotte Pretty took some time out of her busy schedule to share some of her personal beauty tips and leave some encouraging words.

What is your beauty product must have? Eye makeup!!  Just by adding some shadow, eye-liner, and mascara (and sometimes some extra lashes), you can brighten up your whole face!!

If I were to peek in your makeup bag, what would I find? I have two separate makeup bags… one for Checkers games, and one for everyday (for work).  In my game day bag I have all MAC products –  Base, lots of colors for eye makeup, eye liner, fake eyelashes, glue, blush, brushes, eyelash curler, lip liner, and lipstick!  In my everyday bag I have the basics – base, powder and blush!

What spa/salon service can you not live without and where do you go to get this service done? I always have my nails done!  I get pink and white nails at Le Fi Nails in Pineville, NC.

Who is your beauty icon? My beauty icon is actually Julie Andrews.  If you have ever seen The Sound of Music or Mary Poppins, you know that Julie Andrews is extremely naturally beautiful!

What is your definition of Beauty? I believe beauty comes from within.  It is great to have peers tell you that they think you are beautiful, but its best if you know it yourself, and you show your inner beauty by acting towards others they way you would like them to act towards you.  If you feel beautiful then you ARE beautiful!
Any last words? I think that part of being beautiful is being HAPPY!  I am blessed to have an amazing family, friends, and boyfriend.  A wise friend has said that it should be your goal to make one stranger smile a day 🙂 I also work for two amazing organizations!!  If you ever need anything for your office or any school supplies, you will not find anything better than Carolina Pad!  And the Charlotte Checkers are an awesome organization that love to help out in the community, including Susan G Komen Race for the Cure, the Autism Walk, and Goodwill.
It is no wonder this Queen City Pretty was nominated by someone in our community for this feature. She is a true beauty, inside and out. Thank you Kristi for taking time to be this week’s Queen City Pretty and thank you for all you do within our community.
