Touring the City of Puerto Plata

I can’t believe it’s been a month since my trip to the Dominican Republic. Time has certainly flown by. I’ve shared with you the exciting things I did while there including participating in impact activities and hiking the 27 Waterfalls. One thing I didn’t share is that one afternoon we hired a driver and took a tour of Puerto Plata.

While his name escapes me, I can tell you that I couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide. With each stop, he parked his car and walked us around pointing out interesting facts about what was before us. He took us around to the ‘must see’ spots and even a special place where there’s a bird’s eye view of Puerto Plata. Simply stunning! Here are a few of my favorite photos from the day.
