A few weeks ago I wrote about the Annual Passports with Purpose Fundraiser . Well, guess what, it’s finally time to help bring e-readers to Kenya! You can read the original post HERE.
PWP was founded as a way for travel bloggers to unite to give back to the places they visit. Past projects include raising $116,000 for five wells in Haiti, $84,000 for two schools in Mali, and $90,000 for two libraries in Zambia among many other successful fundraisers.
This year’s fundraiser will be raising money to provide e-readers to five libraries in Kenya thru Worldreader. Worldreader is a non-profit on a mission to bring digital books to every child and their family, so that they can improve their lives.
How can you participate?
From now until November 18th, each $10 you donate gives you a chance to win from Passports With Purpose incredible catalog of prizes. Prizes include hotel stays, air miles, jewelry, clothes, cameras, among many more.

2. Click DONATE .
3. Once you’ve donated, visit the 2015 Prize Choice Form and make your choice.
4. You can bid on prizes until Wednesday, November 18 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Prize winners will be announced and notified on November 22, 2015 via email. See our Rules.

We spend $10 easily on coffee, lunch, and other items that are not always necessary. Think about how far your donation can go in improving these communities in Kenya. Building off a successful Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation-funded pilot for the use of e-readers in libraries in Kenya, the funds raised from Passports with Purpose (PwP) for Worldreader will bring digital reading to an additional five libraries in western Kenya.
