Rent the Runway Review

Being in the public eye, there is no way I can wear the same dress twice when attending major events. Having to buy a new dress often can really add up. There are only so many times I can bat my eye lashes at the Mr. in hopes he'll agree to me purchasing a new dress that can easily retail for $1,000. Our children DO have to eat ya know.

I've known about Rent the Runway for a long time. As we had the British American Business Council Gala to attend, I thought this was the perfect time to give RTR a chance. I was really nervous about ordering a dress that I had not tried on but knowing I was spending less than $200 versus purchasing a new one made it worth the risk. I spent hours reading reviews, looking at customer photos and FINALLY chose my dress. And to make things better, I was able to add a 2nd dress (us women need options!) for an extra $25.

I ordered two beautiful black Badgley Mischka sequin gowns. I was delighted when they arrived on hangers and protected in a hanging bag(that I got to keep!) One dress didn't fit well but the other was a perfect fit! Look at me……I'm fancy.

After I wore the dress, I simply placed it along with the one I didn't wear in the provided envelope and sent them back via USPS. It was THAT easy and well worth the money spent. I will definitely use Rent the Runway in the future. For all of the events I attend, this will definitely save me time and money!

Have you used RTR? I want to see photos!!
