OUT with the old, IN with the new (Sponsored Post)

We are constantly cleansing ourselves of the OLD and bringing in the new. Whether it's makeup or friends, it's important that we rid ourselves of the negative and make room for the positive.
Sure, I have cleansed my wardrobe, my makeup bag and even ex-boyfriends. But have you ever thought about shedding fearful thoughts?! I've worked really hard over the last couple of years to do just that.  As long as you are living in positive light, who cares what others think.
I do not have one career path. I do not desire to work in an office from 9-5 every day for the rest of my life. I am an Entrepreneur. This means I am constantly coming up with new ideas and seeing them thru.....ok....so maybe not ALL of them. But do you see where I'm going with this?
I will not fall for the ideas of others that I should choose one career. Why can't I do it all? I am the editor of this site, a photographer, an international marketing strategist, a life coach, a supporter of many philanthropic efforts AND I'm a mom to three children. I want it all. So, I have shed my fears and negative thoughts of "oh, what will the neighbors think? I'm a work at home mom...I'm not like the others....... They'll probably think I'm a bad mom because I'm always on the go" to "this is me. I enjoy what I do. I love my family and I want the best of both worlds."
And those thoughts weren't just about what others thought. It was about what I thought as well. Guilt maybe for being a working mom.......
But you know what....as soon as I got rid of those nagging thoughts....I started to see that people actually appreciate the fact that I am capable of balancing home life and work life. They ask "HOW?" and "Will you teach me?"
Making the decision to work for myself was the best decision I have ever made for myself and my family. I am happy, I am successful and I still have time to cook dinner, do laundry and attend every soccer game ;)
