Neiman Marcus Charlotte Hosts Fashion’s Night Out

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (September 2, 2011) – Fashion’s Night Out (FNO) is an unparalleled global initiative created to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence, boost the industry’s economy and put the fun back in shopping.

In the United States, the program is a collaboration between American Vogue, the Council of Fashion Designers of America, NYC & Company and the City of New York.

On September 8, 2011, Fashion’s Night Out will return to New York City and cities nationwide, including Charlotte, to put the fun back in shopping, with designer appearances, live windows, celebrity guests, and other special events. Around the world, and led by fifteen international Vogue editions (Australia, Britain, China, France, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Taiwan, and Turkey), each country will celebrate Fashion’s Night Out. 

Neiman Marcus Charlotte will be hosting its 3rd FNO event on Thursday, September 8 from 6:30 p.m. until 10 p.m..  Activities include: a Fall Trends runway fashion show, an appearance by designer Craig Taylor, trunk shows, beauty artistry events, DJ, Cowfish Burger Sushi Bar and cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. 

Neiman Marcus Charlotte has chosen Dress For Success Charlotte as the charitable beneficiary for its FNO event.  Guests are invited, but not required, to purchase VIP seating to the Runway Fashion Presentation; seats are $50 and 100% of the proceeds will benefit Dress For Success Charlotte.  The event is free to the public however reservations are needed.   

The Dress for Success Charlotte mission is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support, and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
