Tracey Gold, mother of four, actress and recovered anorexic has teamed up with the producers of the award-winning addiction series "Intervention", to take a closer look at the women and men who appear to be keeping it together as moms,dads, wives, husbands, professionals, students and more, yet are struggling every day with eating disorders.
This show is not about shock value. They hope to depict the stories that on the outside look like "normal" and functioning day-to-day lives. Leading experts in all areas of recovery who along with renowned eating disorder specialist Dr. Terry Eagan, will take the patient from a professional evaluation, through the foundations of treatment and into the beginning of an recovery program designed to meet their very specific needs. Participants will receive up to 90 days of treatment in exchange for participation.
