Our Queen City Pretty this week is a local celebrity in the world of fashion. After studying fashion design at Parsons School of Design, Nicole Sinclair had the opportunity to work among the best in the industry with names such as Kate Spade, Lulu Guinness, and Rafe. Local media appearances include Fox News Rising , Charlotte the City Magazine and soon the morning show Charlotte Today. Currently, Nicole spends her time helping youth realize their capability and nurtures their creativity thru her Fashion Art Studio, Style Sanctum.

Thank you Nicole for taking a moment to share your beauty tips with our Pretty readers!

You dedicate your life to helping young individuals create an outlet for their creativity thru the world of fashion, after a long week, how do you pamper yourself? I try to make my once a week hair appointment where my stylist gives a great massage and tells me over and over again to relax.  When I can’t make it, I will go outside and just have quiet time.

What is your beauty product must have? Chanel’s Inimitable mascara

If I were to peek in your makeup bag, what would I find? Chanel Inimitable mascara, Burt’s Bees Honey lip balm, Chanel make up brushes, LTD Tweezerman tweezers, Chanel glossimer in Twinkle, Loreal Color Riche lip gloss, # 830, Chanel Teint Innocence and Mac studio fix, mineralize blush and concealer.

What spa/salon service can you not live without? Full Body Massage

Who is your beauty icon? Susan Fales Hill

What is your definition of Beauty? To me, beauty is found in the individual who sets their own rules around what is beautiful.

Any last words? Style Sanctum will have our 1st End of The Season Fashion show on November 13 and invites everyone to come out and see the truly innovative looks these students will create, also look for our appearance on Charlotte Today on September 30, which will feature dresses made by the phenomenal Jamie Price, one of our Style Makers.
